Happy New Year!!!

Our pups are hand-raised in our home. They started out in Nani's office, where we can have the best climate control, and of course, wander by often to steal a kiss! They have moved out to the heated garage, where they have a separate potty area, and access to their own fenced yard, where they can safely investigate the great outdoors.

Mom does a great job teaching them not to potty in their "house", which moves nicely into crate training. These pups will start their crate training before they leave. Each pup has his/her own crate, and are fed there; that way everybody gets their share of food, and eat at their leisure. Then they take their morning and evening naps in their crate. Learning to deal with solitude is the hardest thing for a puppy when they leave the pack and go to live with you; so we get them started!!

All our pups will have 3 worming treatments, and have their first physical by a vet. Dr. Hannah will check their eyes, ears, heart, lungs, and do a fecal test; oh and of course get their first shots. We're very fortunate to have a local vet that does farm calls for puppies, that way we don't have to take our young babies to a vet office, and run the risk of catching something..

We invest alot of time and money into each litter we breed.  Ensuring that both parents are healthy and well-adjusted is just the beginning! Selecting the right Sire is more than just finding an AKC registered male to breed to.  The Sire's pedigree, his owner's family, as well as his temperament and personality, all play a large role in what kind of puppies he will produce. Careful selection in breeding is important to ensure that you have the highest quality puppies to begin your training with.
